MIP-It™ Silver - MicroChamber Interleaving Paper (50)
☺ MIP-It is precision cut from very thin 100% cotton MicroChamber Interleaving Paper (MIP) that is infused with proprietary SPZ Zeolite which is the only paper that absorbs acid from paper. This is the same paper used by CGC to preserve graded and encased comics and magazines.
☺ MIP-It protects your collectibles from the effects of aging by introducing an entire new level of protection. MIP-It eliminates odors from smoke, mold, and mildew with the ability to remove pollutants, both airborne and those released from the collection itself. MIP-It absorbs acids, aldehydes, ammonia, SO2 and NOx, and oxidative gases, even at very low concentrations. MIP-It also provides over 100 times the acid removal capacity of standard buffered papers!
☺ Some may remember the honeycomb-infused watermark displayed on older MicroChamber Interleaving Paper. Unfortunately, this watermark is no longer present on newly produced paper. Long story short.....the old paper mill abruptly closed its doors without notice and is still holding the old paper stock along with equipment used to infuse the watermark. If you purchase MicroChamber Interleaving Paper that displays a watermark, this is older paper milled over a year ago. Not a bad thing, but just be aware of it. This info can be easily verified by contacting the manufacturer of MicroChamber Interleaving Paper. Given these events, please be sure to only buy authentic paper from a reputable seller. We buy in bulk and our purchases can be verified with Conservation Resources. MIP-It is the only official MicroChamber Interleaving Paper product with a legitimate GS1 UPC.
☺ Use: Simply insert a single MIP-It sheet inside the front and back covers of a comic book. For increased protection, insert an additional MIP-It sheet into the center of the book or every few pages as desired. CGC places a single sheet inside the front and back covers so do the same as a minimum. A sheet placed between every page would be ideal, but you don't want your comic looking like an accordion file folder when your done preserving it.
☺ MIP-It for Silver Age comics measures 6-3/4" x 10-3/16" and is recommended for Silver Age comics published from 1956 to 1970.
☺ Sold in packages of 50. Comic not included.
